Programs included on the Youth Locator Map are oriented to youth ages 5-17.

 

Boy Scouts

– Officially-sanctioned Cub Scout and Boy Scout programs for boys

 

Camps (non-sports, summer only)

– Daily play-camps or week-long themed camps held exclusively during the summer

 

Camps (non-sports, throughout the year)

– Daily camps or week-long themed camps held throughout the year

 

Drop-in programs

– Activities offered on a daily or weekly basis that do not require advance registration

 

Environmental Education

– Activities that increase appreciation for the natural world and/or raise awareness of waste reduction and recycling

 

Faith

– Activities affiliated with a church in the Treasure Valley

 

Girl Scouts

– Officially-sanctioned Girl Scout programs for girls

 

Performing Arts

- Physical activity that allows participants to be creative and self-expressive using voice, dance, and theatrics

 

Schools

– Activities held on school property (can be sponsored by Boise School District, Meridian School District or outside agency)

 

Sports

– Team and/or individual sports for boys and girls

 

Visual Arts

– Activities that allow participants to be self-expressive by exploring various art mediums such as pottery, painting, photography, etc.
