Alive After Five:
For over 54 years, Art in the Park has been a tradition that has grown from a clothes-line display of art to the region’s largest annual arts and crafts festival. The festival provides a unique opportunity for the public to meet the artists and purchase their works. In addition, Art in the Park offers live entertainment, park performers, wonderful food prepared by more than 30 concessionaires, as well as “hands-on” art activities for children.

Boise's favorite Summer Concert Series runs on every Wednesday from June thru September at the Grove Plaza in downtown Boise. Listen to live music and enjoy cool beverages, vendor booths and delicious food each week. Cool off in the fountain, enjoy public art...dance 'til you drop...or just sit back and watch! Either way, it's a great event for the whole family to enjoy...and it's FREE to attend! The event starts at 5pm and lasts until 8pm.

Capital City Public Market
The Market is an on-going, centrally located gathering place where local farmers and producers can sell their products to community residents and visitors. The Market upholds the age-old tradition of allowing the consumer to meet the producer while encouraging the production and consumption of agricultural products in the Treasure Valley. Maintaining a diverse mix of products offered for sale at the Market will provide direct marketing opportunities for growers, specialty food vendors, and artisan vendors alike. The Market is more than just a place of business; it is a mutually beneficial and sustainable community activity.
