Trailheads

At the parking lot near the Foothills Learning you will find trailheads for several popular foothills trails including: Lower Hulls Gulch, Kestrel, Owls Roost, Hulls Grove, Red Fox, and Chickadee Ridge. These trails are popular with hikers, mountain bikers, and equestrians. To see maps of the Ridge-to-Rivers trails system, click here. Ridge-to-Rivers maps are available at the Foothills Learning Center and at area outdoor stores for a small contribution of $5. For information about trail use and etiquette, click here.

The Foothills Learning Center also offers a one-quarter mile interpretive trail on the grounds. This level trail is wheelchair and stroller accessible, and offers beautiful interpretive signs showcasing various foothills features. Learn about fire, wildlife, native and non-native plants, foothills habitat, the importance of water, and historical uses of the foothills.
