Guidelines for Scheduling a Group Visit
Groups consisting of 10 or more people must make a reservation at least two weeks in advance. Contact the Boise WaterShed for group reservations. Visits may be scheduled for Monday – Friday, 9:30 am – 4:30 pm. Due to capacity limits, we may not be able to accommodate large groups who have not made a reservation.
Group Size
Minimum of 10 people, Maximum of 90. Large groups will be split into smaller groups and rotated through the activities.
Chaperones
The minimum number of chaperones are listed below, however, extra chaperones are always welcome.
- Preschool and Kindergarten: 1 adult (minimum) to 5 students
- Elementary through High School: 1 adult (minimum) to 10 students
Parking
Buses may park in the dirt lot, located immediately to the right of the main entrance gate. Buses should drop off students at Boise WaterShed main entrance, then proceed through the gate to turn around and park in the dirt lot.
Vans and cars may park alongside the Boise WaterShed building. Please note there are only 10 parking spaces. Overflow parking is located in the dirt lot.
Dining areas
Outside picnic areas are available on The Plaza courtyard and front lawn. No food or drinks are allowed inside the Boise WaterShed unless weather conditions are severe and prohibit outside dining, such as extreme cold or rainy or snowy weather. In those situations, students can consume food and drinks inside the Boise WaterShed Theater only.
