Trash service
All residents will receive a new trash cart for automated pick-up
All trash must be placed inside a city-issued cart with the lid shut
Bags of trash left at the curb will no longer be accepted
Yard waste must go in the trash cart or be composted at home
Old trash cans may be used if you affix
Overflow Stickers
to them
Residents will be provided with five free Overflow Stickers each year
Recycling service
All recyclers will receive a new, no-sort recycling cart
No need to separate recyclables -- just throw them in the cart
Recycling pick-up will occur on your trash day every other week
Collection
New trucks will be equipped with mechanical arms that lift carts and empty them into the truck
New trucks will run on compressed natural gas (CNG)
