Q. Who will delivery my new cart(s)?
A. Allied Waste has partnered with Otto Container to deliver 140,000 carts from June 22 to Sept. 4 to 70,000 households. That's the equivalent of about 2,800 carts a day.
Q. When can I start using my new cart(s)?
A. As soon as they are delivered. Collection will begin the week following delivery. Before getting started, please be sure to reference the user manual attached to the cart.
Q. Where are the carts being stored prior to delivery?
A. Carts are stored on City-owned property at 24th St. & Fairview and 2800 W. Fairview.
Q. What if I've used my cart for a few weeks and I realize I need different sizes or quantities of carts?
A. Delivery of carts will take place from June 22 to Sept. 4. Residents will be able to change the size and number of their carts at no extra charge from Sept. 7 to Oct. 30, once the initial delivery period has concluded. Unless you have received the wrong cart, we will be unable to accommodate exchange request while trying to deliver new carts. We encourage residents to try out their carts for at least 30 days before making a decision to exchange their carts.
Q. What happens if I'm on vacation when my carts are delivered?
A. Your carts will be delivered according to schedule. You will need to make arrangements to have someone (i.e. neighbor or family member) move your cart from the curb to your house.
