Curb It is Boise's automated trash and no-sort recycling program. The program provides carts for residential trash disposal, offers simplified recycling, and encourages residents to curb waste by promoting the principles of reduce, reuse, and recycle.
Did you know...?
- You can recycle your old computer and television. Take these and other electronic wastes to one of the Household Hazardous Waste mobile collection sites located around town.
- You can save money and keep our community clean by drinking tap water rather than buying bottled water. Often times, plastic water bottles end up in the landfill (or along roadsides) and are not recycled. Get a reusable (BPA-free) water bottle or canteen and carry your own plain or filtered tap water.
Recycle, Recycle, Recycle!
Here is this month's recycling collection calendar. 2010 calendar
| Check the color of the decal located on the inside of the recycling cart lid. If it is purple, then you recycle on purple-colored weeks. If it is orange, then you recycle on orange-colored weeks. |
