Child Care Training Information

List of Approved Child Care Training Providers

The following is a list of authorized child care training providers within the Boise City Care Training Network.  All courses offered by network members that meet the standards set forth by the City Clerk's Office are eligible for child care licensing credit.  The City Clerk reserves the right to refuse credit for any course that does not meet the approved standards.  This list is updated as new information becomes available.  Each network provides offers classes within one or more of the following early childhood education core competencies:  (A) - Child Growth, Development and Learning; (B) - Health and Safety; (C) - Relationships with Families; (D) - Developmentally Appropriate Content; (E) - Program Operation; (F) - Observing Children's Behavior; and (G) - Professionalism.

IdahoSTARS, Idaho State Training and Registry System, Training - The City of Boise accepts all IdahoSTARS approved training. It is the responsibility of the individual licensee to provide the written documentation of training from IdahoSTARS at the time they apply for license renewal.
