Parking Services

The mission of Parking Services is to encourage parking turnover and space availability in the on-street parking spaces for the downtown and the mixed use, high impact residential areas of Boise City.  Parking Services proactively plan and implement policies that use technology and human resources to provide quality service that is efficient, fair, and equitable.

Parking Services provides the review and management of on-street parking with in the Boise City limits:

• Review, installation and maintenance of:
  • Electronic Parking Meters
  • Time Zone Programs
  • Residential Time Zone Programs
  • Special Parking Districts
• Management of parking permit programs
• Enforcement of parking regulations on street
• Maintaining records of all parking violations
• Collection of parking fines
• Management of the City Hall Parking Facility
• Review of private parking spots using vehicle immobilization firms to "boot" vehicles.
