20 Free Minutes at the Parking Meters

All of the electronic parking meters have a button that activates up to 20 free minutes of parking time.  The 20 free minutes is not automatic and requires the button be pushed. Once you've gotten your free minutes you can add coins for additional time as needed.

Parking Cards

Parking cards can be purchased in $10 dollar increments from $10 to $100. If not completely empty, the card can be filled to the next desired $10 dollar increment. Meter will automatically deduct in $.25 - 15 minute increments until the card is removed or maximum time is reached. Cards can be purchased or recharged at Boise City Hall, 150 North Capitol Blvd., Customer Service Counter, 1st Floor, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
