Parking Meter Boundaries

During the City of Boise's 2006-2007 Budget Development the Mayor and City Council approved a recommendation from the Division of Parking Sevices to establish boundaries for the placement of parking meters in Downtown Boise.

Boundaries:

• State Street to the North
• Front Street ot the South
• West side of 11th Street
• East side of 5th Street

All streets located within these boundaries will have parking meters installed as the preferred method for maintaining parking turnover.  These boundaries encompass those areas located within convenient walking distance to public parking garages for people who want to stay for extended periods which exceed the 1 or 2 hour meter limits.
