The Boise Fire Department celebrates our city's new ladder truck located at Fire Station 5 on 16th and Front.

On March 11, 2008, the Boise Fire Department held an open house to celebrate our new Ladder Truck 5's placement in service.  The Ladder Truck was purchased with the partnership of Capital City Development Corporation.  Ladder Truck 5 was placed into service a few weeks ago and covers the downtown area.  Mayor Dave Bieter, Members of the Boise City Council, Fire Chief Dennis Doan and Representatives from Capital City Development Corporation were speakers for the event.
