The Boise Fire Department is anticipating to establish an entry level firefighter eligibility list in the autumn of 2008. The hiring process for these positions will begin with written scores from Public Safety Testing. Check Public Safety Testing's website for test information (www.publicsafetytesting.com). A Firefighter Recruit Academy is tentatively planned to begin in the autumn of 2008. Note: A number of factors (ie. budget, retirement plans, etc.) beyond the control of the Fire Department may alter these numbers and dates.
