State of the City 2010 Video

Part 1: Mayor David Bieter reviews some of the progress during the past year, including the new West Boise library, community detox and crisis mental health center, and river recreation park.

Part 2: Mayor Bieter discusses some of Boise's vital economic development initiatives, including freight rail, the Greenhouse incubator, and a new airport solar generating project. He also asks voters to support user-fee-supported financing of airport improvements.

Part 3: Mayor Bieter asks the state to give Idaho voters local-option taxing authority to support priorities in their own communities, and underscores Boise's economic development philosophy: "If we do everything, we win."
