As of January 1, 2008, all plans and permits are subject to the following:

• 2006 International Building Code
• 2006 International Residential Code (Parts I - IV & IX)
• 2006 International Energy Conservation Code
• 1997 Uniform Building Code, Appendix Chapter 33
• 2003 Uniform Plumbing Code (without Chapter 13)
• 2005 National Electric Code (2008 NEC effective July 1, 2008)

Applicable Mechanical Codes
Commercial projects and all residential projects with more than two units:

• 2003 International Mechanical Code (including Appendix A)
• 2003 International Fuel Gas Code (including Appendices A, B, C and D)

Residential projects with one or two dwellings:

• 2003 International Residential Code (parts V, VI and Appendices A, B, C & D)
