Subdivisions
Subdivision Approval
Subdivision approval is subject to a number of conditions reflected in the City Subdivision Ordinance and Idaho State Statutes. Those conditions must be satisfied before the City Engineer and City Clerk sign the plat. Then it is taken to the Ada County Engineer for review and signature, and is finally recorded at the Ada County Recorder's Office.
Once your subdivision has been recorded, builders may then apply for building permits on the newly created lots.
Note
Do not rely on realtors or the Ada County Assessor to determine the zoning of your property. The Boise Planning & Development Services Department is the only agency that can confirm and guarantee zoning. Call 384-3830 for more information.
