Restrooms
Boise Parks & Recreation is responsible for the maintenance of 56 restrooms at 47 park sites throughout the city. We take pride in our work and do our best to keep the restrooms clean and free of vandalism.
The process of opening and closing restrooms can take several weeks. In a typical year, crews begin closing restroom facilities and turning off drinking fountains in mid-October when temperatures start to drop In April when the weather warms up, we start the process to reopen the restrooms for the spring and summer.
At some parks, the restrooms are winterized and remain open year round. In high use areas and sports fields without permanent facilities, we provide portable restrooms.
