Celebrate “Dynamic Dad’s Day!” June 20 At Zoo Boise
Dynamic Dad’s Day! is a special all-day celebration Sunday, June 20, with gifts for the first 300 dads, discounted admission for all dads, an hourly raffle with fun zoo gifts and barbecue lunch for sale at the Critter’s Café.
The celebration will be a great opportunity for kids to explore Zoo Boise with their dads and visit the new red panda exhibit. In addition, there will be staff talks and special animal feedings throughout the day.
Zoo Boise is accredited by the American Zoo & Aquarium Association and is home to more than 200 animals, including Magellanic penguins, snow leopards, Amur tigers, zebras, monkeys and a Komodo dragon. Located in Julia Davis Park, Zoo Boise is operated by the Boise Parks & Recreation Department.
Hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. On Dynamic Dad’s Day!, fathers will be admitted for $2.75. Admission for everyone else is $5 for ages 12-61, $2.50 for ages 4-11, $2.75 for ages 62 and over. Kids under age 4 get in free. Friends of Zoo Boise members are admitted free with their membership card.
