You are invited to attend a special groundbreaking ceremony Friday, July 14 at 1:30 p.m. at the Julia Davis Park tennis courts.

The City of Boise and Boise State University will announce the details of a cooperative effort to renovate and expand the tennis courts at Julia Davis Park with lead gifts from the Micron Foundation and long-time community tennis players and collegiate tennis fans Emmet and Janet Herndon.

Boise Mayor Dave Bieter, Boise State University Director of Athletics Gene Bleymaier, Micron Technology Vice President of Operations Jay Hawkins and others will make comments and then participate in a ceremonial groundbreaking ceremony.
