Families invited to Fun for Kids Fest April 28

Fun for Kids Fest

Kids can make pottery, draw a flower, shoot a hockey puck, try some tennis and participate in other great activities from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, April 28, at the free Fun for Kids Fest at Fort Boise Community Center.

Hands-on activities include:

• Pottery wheel throwing
• Sculpting
• Hip hop demonstration
• Tap dancing demonstration
• African drum circle
• Magic tricks
• Mountain bike obstacle course
• Shoot the puck practice with a plastic rink, hockey sticks and a net
• Jump rope tricks
• Preschool indoor play gym

Also featured will be an inflatable jump castle and performances by the Rhythm Dogs, a high-energy group of teens from throughout the community who create their own rhythm and dance routines in the style of Broadway’s “Stomp.”
