 Kids can make pottery, draw a flower, shoot a hockey puck, try some tennis and participate in other great activities from
10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, April 28, at the free Fun for Kids Fest at Fort Boise Community Center.
Hands-on activities include:
• Pottery wheel throwing • Sculpting • Hip hop demonstration • Tap dancing demonstration • African drum circle • Magic tricks • Mountain bike obstacle course • Shoot the puck practice with a plastic rink, hockey sticks and a net • Jump rope tricks • Preschool indoor play gym
Also featured will be an inflatable jump castle and performances by the Rhythm Dogs, a high-energy group of teens from throughout
the community who create their own rhythm and dance routines in the style of Broadway’s “Stomp.”
At the Fun for Kids Fest, families can register for playcamps, swim lessons and other Boise Parks & Recreation summer programs.
