Capitol Park is a small mini Park located near downtown Boise. The park is 2 acres and features several picnic areas for those downtown lovers.

The renovation of the State Capitol building will affect access to Capitol Park.
The location of the fence is on the west and north sides of the park. Pedestrians will be able to walk on the sidewalk around the perimeter of the park, but will not be able to access Capitol Blvd on the west side of the park, or Jefferson St on the north side. There will also be no access to the Steunenberg Memorial from Capitol Park - people will have to walk south to Bannock to cross Capitol Blvd to the Monument.
Park patrons who arrive by car will not be able to park on Jefferson St or Capitol Blvd adjacent to the park.
