2800 W Canal St
Shoshone Park is a five-acre neighborhood park located at 2800 Canal St. near Vista Avenue. The park features open play areas, picnic tables, restrooms, two tennis courts and two practice fields for soccer and other sports.
New playground equipment installed at Shoshone Park will provide hours of fun for kids on the Boise Bench.
The new accessible play equipment by Landscape Structures is rated for children ages 2-12 and features slides, overhead equipment, a track ride and a swingset.
The $60,000 project, which was funded by the City of Boise, replaced aging equipment at the park. King Excavation was the contractor.
Shoshone Park originated as an open area of land in South Boise. The City of Boise acquired the property through purchase agreement with Max and Lydia Browning in 1972.
