We are proud to offer the community the opportunity to honor important people, dates, organizations, or events on Boise City Parks & Recreation property. BPR has a large variety of site amenities or facilities you may choose from, to adopt as a naming opportunity. All naming opportunities will be established and maintained in accordance with the Boise Parks & Recreation Memorial Policy.
The broad range of opportunities that are available include:
BENCHES
One of our most popular naming opportunities are our benches. The bench comes with a plaque which allows for text consistent with our Memorial Policy. All Bench adoptions are for a 20-year renewable term, and will receive maintenance consistent with department standards throughout the term of the adoption. Damaged or vandalized adoptions will be repaired or replaced by Boise Parks & Recreation through the term of the adoption.

BOISE RIVER RECREATION PARK
The Boise River Recreation Park, part of the Boise River Recreation and Management Plan adopted by the Boise City Council in December 1999, will provide river sports opportunities through creation of a whitewater stretch in the Boise River downstream from the Main Street bridge. The project, on a section of river that was channelized during the mid-1900s, is being designed to provide a more natural riparian setting and improved fish habitat.
