Officers treated the kids to gifts, games, pizza and lots of fun. The party was an open house at police headquarters. The kids got to interact with officers during demonstrations put on by the BPD SWAT team, the Motors Unit, Bomb Squad and K9's. |

Boise Police have placed purple magnetic ribbons on patrol cars for the month of October. The department hopes they help show victims of domestic violence they have the support of law enforcement. On average, Boise Police respond to 9 domestic violence related calls each day in the city, More than half the calls from victims who feel their safety is threatened. More Information |

The officers are credited with beginning a safe evacuation of the building, then assisting Fire by obtaining a list of building tenants so all residents could be accounted for. |
