Free Composting Workshops

Did you recently purchase a new compost bin through the Curb It Boise program and want to start composting? Boise City is offering free composting workshops.
With the overwhelming response to Curb It Boise's compost bin offer, the city of Boise is conducting "Composting 101" workshops for interested residents. Learn how to reduce waste and improve your garden's soil. Whether you purchased a new bin, built your own, or are just interested in composting, these free one-hour workshops are for you.
Jennie Rylee, Environmental Education Coordinator will provide workshop participants the basics of backyard composting. Live in an apartment or don't have much yard waste? Learn how easy worm composting can be done whether you are an apartment dweller or non-gardener.
