The City Attorney’s Office’s mission is:

The City Attorney’s Office consists of 30 attorneys and 21 support staff. With the help of my talented and experienced Assistant City Attorneys and support staff, this office provides civil legal services and advice to the Mayor, the City Council, and other City Departments on a myriad of issues. These include contracts, real estates transactions, land use planning, and risk management. The office also provides criminal legal services to the Boise and Meridian Police Departments and prosecutes misdemeanors and infractions that occur within our City limits as well as within Meridian through a prosecution contract between the two Cities.
