Warm Springs Golf Course

An 18-hole championship course shaded by mature trees, Warm Springs Golf Course is just minutes from downtown Boise. Located on the banks of the Boise River, the course features spacious fairways, well-tended greens, numerous ponds, and scenic views of the Boise Foothills. Operated by Boise Parks & Recreation, Warm Springs Golf Course offers affordable recreation for youth and adults in one of the city’s oldest neighborhoods.

 

Golf Season is upon us.  If you have not paid your IGA and member association dues, please stop by the clubhouse to do so.  In order to play in Warm Springs Association tournaments, events and leagues a current membership is required.

Spring Break Golf Camp - March 29, 30, 31, April 1, 2 (Monday through Friday)

Time:  9:00 am to 4:00 pm  

Place:  Warm Springs Golf Course

Cost:  $250.00 for the week

Ages:  7 to 15 years old

This camp is designed to prepare junior golfers to play golf on their own.  This camp will focus on full swing, short game, sand play and the rules of golf.  Staff will train participants both at the practice facility as well as on the course.  Breaks from golf throughout the week will include movies and "downtime".  If needed, clubs will be available to students at no cost.  

Training schedule:  

  • 9:00 am to 4:00 pm (Monday through Friday, March 29, 30, 31, April 1, 2)
  • Swing Technique (Full Swing, Putting Pitching, Chipping, and Bunkers)
  • Course Strategy and on course play
  • Tournament Preparation
  • Build EXTREME confidence
  • Learn the basic rules of golf
  • Lunch - is responsibility of the athlete

Every participating athlete of the Spring Break Golf Camp will:

  • Be on time for designated training sessions and team activities,
  • Dress in a responsible manner for the days weather,
  • observe golf course rules
  • Bring your best behavior
  • Lunch - is the responsibility of the athlete

 

Family Night Hours November through March start at 2:30 PM on Saturdays and Sundays.  $8.00 per player for adults playing golf with their children.  A great opportunity to spend some quality family time and enjoy the outdoors!
