Cool Projects & Hot Topics - Floating Feather Area
Valley north of Veterens Cemetery.Floating Feather Area

A small parcel of BLM land is the anchor for proposed trails north of Dry Creek Cemetery. In collaboration with the development of the Idaho Veterens Cemetery, a trail will be rerouted on State land and a parking facility will be built as a part of the cemetery. These proposals will begin creating trail opportunities in the far western end of the foothills where little public land exists.

A Summary of the Floating Feather Area Trail System Proposal can be viewed as an Acrobat PDF file (8k). A Map of the Proposed Trail System for Floating Feather can also be viewed as an Acrobat PDF file (475k).
