Hidden Springs Trails

Many Hidden Springs trails will be closed until further notice as 8th Addition development occurs beginning March 12, 2007. Upper Red Tail Trail #71 will remain open, but will have to be accessed from Currant Creek Trail #75, off of Cartwright Road. Lower Red Tail and Lookout Loop #72 will be closed, as well as all trail access from the Dry Creek Trailhead. Meadowlark Trail #74, and lower Currant Creek Trail #75 will no longer exist due to the development plans. For more information regarding Hidden Springs development, visit their website at www.hiddensprings.com

By working cooperatively with the Hidden Springs Community, a number of trail opportunities have been created in the Dry Creek Valley. Try starting and ending at the Merc where you can pick up a picnic or finish with a cool beverage. There are even more trails planned within this community so stay tuned for even more fine trail experiences.

Red Tail Trail and associated side spurs: Trail numbers 71 - 75.
This is the main trail that crosses the farm flats to Dry Creek Road and then climbs to the ridge above, eventually dropping to Currant Creek. A long climb will then take you to a high point for great views of Stack Rock and beyond. Try this trail as an out and back as well since the views and experience changes in each direction.

Please Note - This public trail is on private land. Please respect all closure and adjacent landowners by using only the marked trails. Your cooperation will make it easier to create more trails elsewhere.
