Candidate is running unopposed.

Bio submitted by candidate -

Elected to City Council in 2023. Jordan Morales has made it a priority to be accessible, responsive, and engaged in a district historically unrepresented at City Hall. Meeting people where they are, he responds directly to questions, concerns, and ideas to listen and learn.

On Council, Jordan has cast key votes for thousands of new homes, approved the new Whitney Pool, supported street improvements with partners at ACHD and ITD, and encouraged the city’s food scrap donation site program. He serves as liaison to the Airport Commission, Parks and Recreation, COMPASS, and Valley Regional Transit where he was elected Treasurer/Secretary.

Beyond Boise City Council, Jordan manages business operations for the Computer Science program at Boise State University and serves on the Bronco Athletic Association Board of Directors to grow their resources for student athletes.

As a sixth-generation Idahoan and son of a Guatemalan immigrant, Jordan is deeply rooted in Boise. He has lived in four of the city’s six Council districts, calling southeast Boise home for the past 20 years. He and his wife Katie love raising their three children here, where they are also active in their church community.

Jordan believes Boise’s best future comes from working together. With a focus on housing, safe streets, connectivity, sustainability, and strong neighborhoods, he is committed to ensuring Boise remains a place where families can thrive for generations to come.
