Assembly licenses are required for places of business where more than 50 people are gathered. These licenses are issued annually for businesses. Based on the information in the Certificate of Occupancy document/occupant load, you can verify whether an assembly license is required. If you are unsure whether you need an assembly license, please contact the City Clerk's Office at (208) 972-8150 or cityclerk@cityofboise.org.
Assembly License
New Application
The City of Boise now allows you to apply online. First time users of this system will be required to set up an account.
After logging in, click "Apply > License" in the top menu. Select Assembly Application in the license menu.
Renew Online
The City of Boise now allows you to renew existing licenses online. First time users will be required to set up an account.
Once you have your account set up, you will need to link your current license to your online account by contacting the City Clerk's Office. Please have your current license number available.
After logging in, select "My Records" from the Home menu. You will find your renewal in your "Licenses" list.
