Anyone serving or selling alcohol for on-premises consumption in Boise must complete an alcohol server training program approved by the Boise Police Department.
Training must be completed within 60 days of employment, and your certification is valid for three years.
Approved training options are listed below. Costs, course length and availability vary by provider, so please review the provider’s website before registering.
You only need to complete one approved training program.
**The Boise Police Department and Idaho State Police periodically host free Boise approved in-person Alcohol Server Training sessions.
