In 2025 the city of Boise installed 16 NaviLens Codes throughout the Boise WaterShed Environmental Education Center. This innovative system uses high-contrast, long-distance scannable specialized QR codes that provide:
- Real-time spoken and text navigation and interpretive content
- ASL interpretation
- Multiple language translations
Boise is now the first museum in the United States to implement NaviLens for public use— marking a milestone in accessible design and effective communication.
