Healthy Initiatives Training

Welcome

Healthy Initiatives was created in order to give child-care providers the resources and training to provide awareness and education on:

  • Childhood obesity
  • Nutrition
  • Behaviors that influence these trends

Our city’s children deserve the opportunity to not only reside in the most livable city in the country, but be healthy, active members here as well.

Boise City Code states that:

Copies of training certificates indicating completion of the required training shall be included with the renewal application at the time of license renewal. Such training sessions are to be approved by the Licensing Officer.
