The aerosol products permit applies to the manufacturing, storage and handling of level 2 or level 3 aerosol products with an aggregate total in excess of 500 pounds net weight.
Before applying for this permit, please have the following materials ready:
The prevention plan drawings (site plan) should include the building floor plan with proposed area of operation including all storage and process areas.
Activity description stating the nature of business, types of operations/processes, systems in use, number of control areas, quantities per control area, types of storage present and fire protection systems provided.
Complete the hazardous material inventory statement (HMIS) on the Boise Fire HMIS spreadsheet.
Download SpreadsheetSafety data sheets (SDS) for all chemicals listed on HMIS.
You must also submit the: hazardous material management plan, emergency management plan, operation procedures and procedures for emergency shut down.
