The cutting and welding permit applies to the operations that involve cutting and welding, including mechanical or cutting involving gas only.

Fire prevention plan drawing (site plan) showing proposed area of work and building layout.
Activity Description
Activity description stating the nature of operations, type of materials used/stored, quantity of materials, system configurations, manufacturer product sheets and fire protection devices provided.
Application
- Log in to our online permitting and licensing system. If you are a first time user of this system, you will need to create an account.
- After logging in, click "Apply" and select "Fire Permit" from the top menu bar.
- Review and accept the online disclaimer and complete the application.
- In your application you will have the opportunity to request an inspection date and time. Please note that the Fire Department will contact you directly to confirm your inspection time.
