Fumigation and Thermal Insecticidal Fogging Permit

The fumigation and thermal insecticidal fogging permit applies to a business conducting the operation of fumigation or insecticidal fogging. This permit is also required to maintain a room, vault or chamber in which a toxic or flammable fumigant is used.

Application Materials

Before applying for this permit, please have the following materials ready:

Prevention Plan Drawings

Prevention plan drawings (site plan) showing the area of operation including building floor plan.

Activity Description

Activity description stating chemicals used, times of operation, ignition source prevention practices implemented, materials used for sealing of outside of building or area and watch personnel practices.

Application

  1. Log in to our online permitting and licensing system. If you are a first time user of this system, you will need to create an account.
  2. After logging in, click "Apply" and select "Fire Permit" from the top menu bar.
  • Review and accept the online disclaimer and complete the application.
  • In your application you will have the opportunity to request an inspection date and time. Please note that the Fire Department will contact you directly to confirm your inspection time.
