Exhibit and Trade Shows

This permit applies to indoor exhibition events and that include fire operational activities and/or alterations to assembly area layouts that require fire code compliance review.

Application Materials

Before applying for this permit, please have the following materials ready:

Prevention Plan Drawings

The prevention plan drawings (site plan) for outdoor events should include the layout of the event. For indoor events, the prevention plan drawings (site plan) should provide a detailed layout of the building floor plan.

Activity Description

Activity description of all event operations, including a schedule of events.

Application

  1. Log in to our online permitting and licensing system. If you are a first time user of this system, you will need to create an account.
  2. After logging in, click "Apply" and select "Fire Permit" from the top menu bar.
  • Review and accept the online disclaimer and complete the application.
  • In your application you will have the opportunity to request an inspection date and time. Please note that the Fire Department will contact you directly to confirm your inspection time.
