Inspections Required by Other Agencies

This application and fee apply to Fire Department code/safety inspections required for state licensing (Idaho Department of Health and Welfare), or other federally funded programs. State license examples:

• ALL childcare licenses required by the State for day cares, including in-home (Stars)
• Children’s Residential Care Facility licenses that require a Fire Safety inspection for entities that provide 24-hour childcare, in the absence of the child’s parents, and for children with special needs.

Application

1. Log in to our online permitting and licensing system. If you are a first time user of this system, you will need to create an account.
2. After logging in, click "Apply" and select "Fire Permit" from the top menu bar.

• Review and accept the online disclaimer and complete the application.
• In your application you will have the opportunity to request an inspection date and time. Please note that the Fire Department will contact you directly to confirm your inspection time.
