Facility History

The Boise Fire Department training center held its grand opening on June 1, 2018. This state-of-the-art training facility makes it possible for Boise Fire and its partners to be leading providers of public safety training by producing well-educated and realistically trained first responders. The facility meets National Fire Protection Association’s minimum standards. The facility is on 17 acres near the City of Boise Watershed facility off Chinden Boulevard and Joplin Road.
