The city of Boise has made a commitment to engaging in an ongoing process of identifying improvements in a team atmosphere. Advisory teams, committees, or workgroups may consist of department directors, managers and employees from throughout the organization who research alternatives to various operational business and employee needs. These teams develop solutions and propose changes to general operating procedures. The mayor or department director, or designee, may determine each team’s composition and duration. Each teams’ role is strictly advisory.
