The safety of employees and the general public is of primary importance to the city of Boise. The city complies with all applicable laws related to health and safety. All levels of management are responsible for requiring and upholding safe work practices, promoting safety, and setting the example for others. City employees are not only expected to adhere to the city’s safety policy and regulations and all safe operating instructions, but are expected to continuously promote safety awareness and encouraged to provide their ideas and expertise to make safety a part of the job. Employees shall maintain property and equipment in a safe operating condition.
