As we strive to achieve our vision of Boise as a city for everyone, we must ensure that each person who calls Boise home can find an affordable home affordable to their budgets and needs. We will meet these goals through our Home for Everyone programs and initiatives.
We are setting out to do something no city has done, and in this unique moment in time, we have a chance to do it. Help us seize this opportunity and be a part of creating real solutions for impact and lasting change.
To achieve our housing goals, we are building a strong team at the City of Boise to preserve and increase affordable housing options and expand capacity to house people experiencing homelessness. The team will focus on:
- Partnership: Collaborating with public and private stakeholders and our residents to identify barriers, generate solutions, and deliver services
- Innovation: creating, researching, analyzing, and testing new policies and programs
- Program effectiveness: analysis and evaluation of program outcomes
We are committed to bringing the right types of talent to the team for this challenge. We are looking for fast learners, problem solvers, critical thinkers, and team players. Successful applicants are dedicated and passionate about serving the community and can synthesize complex information and distill it down to communicate to a diverse range of audiences. We are looking for people who can build relationships that are mutually beneficial and focused on actionable plans and measurable outcomes.
