These opportunities are unique – and we’re looking for unique leaders who are passionate about public service and eager to help us create a city for everyone.
In 2023, our department directors and the Mayor's Office evaluated our current organizational structure, identifying areas for improvement:
- The need for unified strategic planning for effective, long-term budget forecasting
- A desire for more effective and strategically focused executive meetings
- The necessity to balance direct reports across leaders ensuring departments receive direction and feedback efficiently and effectively
