To create a city for everyone, the City of Boise is committed to collaborating with residents to identify and advocate for the things we all care about most – health, safety and economic opportunity in our city.
The Government Affairs wing of the Mayor’s Office serves as the conduit between residents, municipal government and other governmental entities to ensure that the City of Boise’s goals and plans closely align with the needs of our residents. Working in partnership with the Mayor and city departments, staff within Government Affairs pursue city initiatives at the local, state and federal levels, including representing the City of Boise at the Idaho Legislature and with our Federal delegation.
