The City of Boise is taking bold steps to address climate change and is bringing youth leaders to the table to help drive climate solutions. The Youth Climate Action Council will be made up of students from across the city to represent new voices.
Council members will not only provide feedback to administration, but imagine, strategize, and build projects that the youth council will implement. The council will turn action into initiatives that change the way Boise responds to climate for a more resilient future. Staff will equip council with the tools they need, while council co-chairs will lead the group and ensure plans are made by the youth and for the youth.
