Lifetime and Leisure

Lifetime and Leisure Activities are social, educational and fitness related programs for adults age 62 and older. Transportation is provided from three of the Boise City Community Centers to many of the programs. Join us for an activity, meet new friends and leave the driving to us! We have added a lot more opportunities this year, and as always, we love to hear your suggestions for new activities or places to visit.

Explorations

Explore Boise with different experiences through Three Island Crossing, Ritter Island, the Scenic Fall Drive and more!

Tours

Get a first-hand experience with different organizations like ACHD, Idaho State Police, Thousand Springs Boat Tour, Yanke Motor Museum or the Lucky Peak Power Plant.

Festivals

Get a group together and join us at Oktoberfest or the Sun Valley Jazz Festival.

Travel Opportunities

Boise Parks and Recreation offers overnight travel opportunities for our participants as well as community members.  Adults of any age are welcome to travel with us.

Mountain Mamas Craft Fair - July 20

Is there anything better to do on a Saturday in July than travel through the Idaho mountains to the beautiful town of Stanley?  Mountain Mamas Arts & Crafts fair has been hosted in Stanley for over 40 years.  Come join us for a day in the sun with a great selection of arts, crafts, good food and country music.  Enjoy the beautiful scenery and the spirit of the day.

One day trip. $75  Transportation to Stanley for the craft fair. Tour director included.  Coach bus for the trip.

British Landscapes - September 19-28
