Through hands-on STEM based activities, games, discussion and nature journaling, YEES participants will develop an appreciation for the role parks play in supporting healthy communities including providing recreational opportunities, maintaining clean air and water and providing wildlife habitat.

Each session will include a volunteer project focused on the scientific or ecological concept of the day.

Topics Include

Water Quality
Urban Forests
Wildlife Tracking

Applicants with fully completed applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. A maximum of 12 participants will be accepted, and a minimum of 6 is required for the program to take place.

YEES meets Tuesdays and Thursdays from July 2nd-July 29th from 8 a.m.-noon. We will not meet on the July 4th holiday. The program fee is $30.00.
