Fall is a great time to try a new sport or sign your child up for an outdoor education opportunity. We provide programming for all members of the community no matter their age, background or ability.

Activity registration for Boise residents starts Monday, August 15 and for non-residents on Wednesday, August 17.

Boise Parks and Recreation is excited to offer a variety of cooking classes to teach you and your family something new this fall.

There are series just for youth (ages 6-12), teen (13-17), a family series for kids and adults and adult only (18+).

Trying to find something to keep your kids occupied during school breaks? We offer a variety of programs in the months of October, November, December and January when school is out.


Lifetime & Leisure

One-day adult education, leisure and social programs offer a variety of opportunities to get out and enjoy Boise and the surrounding area.

New offerings this fall include trips to a pumpkin patch, swan falls dam and a tractor tour.

NEW! Half-day and full-day rates starting in 2023.

Most parks can be reserved 365 days in advance. To transition to the new processes and changes, 2023 park reservations dates will be available starting Oct. 15, 2022. This is only temporary and the same park sites will still be available. Once changes are in place in October, most park reservations will again be available 365 days in advance.
