Activity registration for Boise residents starts Monday, March 30 and for non-residents on Wednesday, April 1.

Activity Registration will begin online, in our app, in-person and over the phone at 7 a.m. on both Monday, March 30 for Boise city residents and Wednesday, April 1 for non-residents.

Pools & Aquatics

Classes are available at the city’s outdoor pools through Boise Parks and Recreation’s Aquatic Lesson Program. Each two-week session consists of six to eight 25-minute classes. Please note, schedules and days may vary due to holidays and planned swim meets. Class sizes are limited and registration is on a first come, first served basis.

Our popular summer recreational swim team is also back for youth and teens (ages five to 18 years old).

Lap swim is also available for ages 16+.

Summer Camps

Sprouts Garden Camp

A variety of camps are available this summer for youth (starting in preschool) and teens. Our popular Playcamps are also back for another season of fun, with an additional park location added into the mix. We also offer outdoor, zoo, art, cooking/nutrition, science, recreation-based camps and much more.

Adaptive Recreation

Boise Parks and Recreation’s AdVenture program provides a wide range of programs for youth and adults with disabilities. One-day activities include bike rides, mini golf & dinner and rafting the Boise River.
